Product Owner

A growing Lincoln based business that have demonstrated huge success in app & software solutions within the healthcare industry are growing yet again, this time looking to hire a new permanent hybrid Product Owner.

The role will sit within a large DevOps department and have one other member making up the Product Ownership team. This person will be mainly tasked with understanding the businesses products / services issues and they will influence the definition of the products visions and future roadmaps. They will be tasked with working on product backlog management and making sure the vision of the products goals are always kept aligned with the work being done and the user experience.

Day to day duties will involve:

• Leading product discovery
• Carrying out research & testing
• Full product lifecycle including optimising and solution creation
• Managing the Product Backlog
• Creating user stories
• Documentation creation
• Communicate the product vision
• Help the engineering teams understand the product direction
• Aspects of Clinical Safety Officer duties & training

CV’s will need to have a number of the below bullet points in order to be considered:

• Strong working background as a Product Owner
• Any knowledge or previous background as a Clinical Safety Officer would be excellent or if at any stage held a registration with professional bodies such as the General Medical Council or Nursing & Midwifery Council, would also be highly desired
• Must hold a full delivery lifecycle background
• Understanding of DevOps
• Able to develop / write documentation & user stores
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong time keeping skills
• Comfortable committing to a full time permanent role based in Lincoln, offering hybrid work (2/3 days a week in the office)

The client is ideally looking to hire at a salary level dependent of experience of between £40,000 to £47,000 per annum with additional benefits and expenses on offer such as private health-care insurance, a cycle-to-work scheme and many others.
