Trainee Financial Planner

An established business with a great reputation achieved over the decades are on the lookout to hire a new permanent Trainee Financial Planner.

The business have firm roots within Financial Planning & Advice, offering services spanning advice in pensions, investments, retirement funds and many other areas. The business pride themselves on establishing long relationships with all people and clients they partner with and do not compromise in any area on the service offered.

The role as permanent Trainee Financial Planner will play a pivotal role in providing all round administration, support and account management to clients, with day to day duties involving:

• Providing broad support, financial planning advice & administration to clients and various portfolio’s
• Working closely and supporting the senior Financial Planners
• Managing client portfolio’s
• Documentation & policy processing
• Record management and upkeep
• Query handling
• Liaising with other internal teams
• Plus many more

For this position the client is looking to see CV’s with the following skills & attributes:

• Holder of a Financial Planning diploma
• Previous office experience working in areas such as IFA Admin, SIPP or SSAS
• An understanding of pensions
• Some Financial Services experience
• Someone wanting to progress long term in Financial Planning
• Team player
• Highly organised
• Excellent MS Office skills in particular with MS Excel
• Able to commit to an office based role near to Enderby, Leicester, that will offer flexible hybrid working post completion of the training & probation period

The role will be working Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm, with Friday’s being 8:30am to 4:30pm. For this role, the business will pay a salary of £29,000 per annum with additional aspects to consider such as:
