Part Time HR Assistant
An established business with a great reputation achieved over the decades are on the lookout to hire a new permanent Part Time HR Assistant to work closely with the HR Manager.
The business have firm roots within Financial Planning & Advice, offering services spanning advice in pensions, investments, retirement funds and many other areas. The business pride themselves on establishing long relationships with all people and clients they partner with and do not compromise in any area on the service offered.
The role as permanent Part Time HR Assistant will be working with the HR Manager and they will play a pivotal role in aiding in many areas such as recruitment administration, HR support, handling of policies & procedures plus project work. Some key day to day duties for the role will involve:
- HR administration
- Recruitment administration
- Coordinating recruitment internally and via 3rd party external agencies
- Vetting & staff induction duties
- Record upkeep
- Updating policies & procedures, ensuring these are reflected in the staff handbook
- Interview attendance
- Scanning & correspondence
- Recording annual leave, sickness etc
- Aiding in salary reviews
- General team and office administration
For this role, the HR Manager and business would like to see CV’s with the following aspects:
- A previous background working as a HR Administrator / HR Assistant or with relevant HR experience
- Someone with previous experience in HR work relating to recruitment, vetting and new starter inductions
- Strong MS Office skills including MS Excel up to V Look Up standard
- Excellent communication skills with a discrete way of working given the nature of the position and information seen
- Great at multi tasking
- Team player
- Able to commit to a permanent part time role working around 25 hours per week (flexible on scheduling this)
- Able to commit to a role based at the office in Leicester that will offer hybrid working post the probation period
The client would like to hire someone who is able to work around 25 hours per week, with the HR Manager happy to be flexible on the arrangement of this, whether it be 3 full days each week or spread out more over the week.
The full time equivalent salary on offer for this role, dependent on experience is £23,000 to £25,000 per annum and they offer superb additional benefits, such as:
