Part Time Bookkeeper
DB Charles Recruitment are partnered with a successful business based in Henley-on-Thames, that are currently seeking to hire a permanent Part Time Bookkeeper / Finance Administrator to work 1 day per week or potentially a smaller amount of hours spread over a few days, with likely more commitment needed during month end.
The business are predominantly established as IT solutions providers however the group portfolio is involved in other sectors such as Medical & Consultancy . The business has been established for over 10+ years and in this time has seen great growth in turnover.
The role will be responsible for aiding in the smooth running of the finance function of the group business, including duties such as:
- Purchase Ledger & credit control
- Reconciling month end figures
- Month end procedures
- Aiding in management accounts
- Monthly balance sheet, profit and loss.
These are the main responsibilities for the role however other duties and reporting will become apparent.
Ideally the client is looking for CV’s and to interview candidates with the following skill sets:
- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper
- Ability to handle multiple aspects of a finance / ledger function
- Highly numerate and organised
- Comfortable dealing with clients in chasing outstanding payments and debt
- Highly literate and experienced with standard MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Able to commit to a permanent part time role based in Henley-on-Thames, likely requiring someone that can commit to one day per week, maybe requiring an additional day / hours during month end. Flexibility can be discussed for the successful candidate.
The business is ideally seeking to pay a salary based on a full time basis of £24,000 per annum, pro rata for the hours / days offered. Flexibility and discussions around salary / working arrangements can be made.
