Design / Senior Design Engineer

A well known name within engineering, industrial & hydraulic equipment are continuing on there journey of growth and are working with DB Charles Recruitment to hire a new Design or Senior Design Engineer to join the growing engineering department.

Due to an internal promotion and with the future workload ever growing, the business are in a great position to make a new hire. The primary focus of the role will be providing top quality products, from design conception through to physical completion. Key day to day duties will include:

• Product design
• Full product lifecycle activities
• Project management
• Drawings & schematics
• Supporting design team & individual members
• Aiding other internal teams with technical advice
• Working within compliance and regulation guidelines
• Software drawings based work

For this role, the client is looking to see CV’s with many of the following aspects:

• A previous design engineering background
• Ideally looking for someone with knowledge of electrical control circuits & electrical motors however will consider other engineering backgrounds, such as mechanical
• Industry experience within pneumatics / industrial equipment / hydraulics would be highly advantageous
• Excellent skills with 3D design software & solidworks experience preferable
• Team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Happy to commit to an office based role in Daventry

This role will be working Monday to Friday, with standard hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm with an early finish on Friday of 4:00pm. Depending on experience, the client is looking to offer a base salary of circa £35,000 per annum for a Design Engineer and up to £45,000 per annum for a Senior Design Engineer with additional benefits on offer such as:
