DB Charles have recently partnered with a successful business based in Brentford that due to recent growth and development are looking to hire a Business Development Executive – Appointment Setter to join the business focussing on establishing and setting up new appointments and sales for the senior business development managers to convert.

The business has a long standing track record of success as a leading telecommunications provider for a number of highly reputable Corporate clients and SME’s. The business are able to offer a variety of products to their clients in everything from mobile contracts to cloud based products and services. It is due to the businesses recent expansion, they are now seeking to a hire a new person to come onboard and help drive new sales and revenue.

The role as Business Development Executive – Appointment setter will be to join an established team of 5 people and will report directly into the Sales Manager with the main focus being on setting new client meetings for the BDM’s to attend and to hopefully convert into new business.

Day to day responsibilities for the role will include:

  • Creating, finding and following up on new business opportunities
  • Setting up new business sales meetings for BDM’s to attend
  • Ability to identify businesses to approach and to speak to decision makers
  • Telephone sales
  • Diary management
  • Cold calling
  • Establishing a close working relationship with other members of the team and the BDM’s
  • Understanding and staying up to date with product knowledge
  • Report writing
  • Weekly & monthly management meetings
  • And other duties

For this role, the client is seeking CV’s with aspects of the following skill sets:

  • A preferable experience within telecommunications
  • An extensive background within telephone sales and cold calling
  • A degree would be advantageous however not essential
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Driven to succeed in hitting targets & KPI’s
  • Lead chasing ability
  • A quick ability to build rapport
  • Highly organised
  • Team player
  • Commitment to a permanent role based in Brentford

The role will be Brentford based and working Monday to Friday with working hours of 9:00am to 5:30pm and the client is looking to offer a salary dependent on experience of between £18,000K to £23,000K plus additional benefits on offer such as:
