Bid Administrator

Based in London not too far away from Kings Cross Train Station, DB Charles Recruitment have been working with a brilliant business seeking to hire a new permanent Bid Administrator.

The business is widely recognised within their industry of building services / construction and they have a company history spanning over 70 years accumulating in a fantastic reputation, turnover and people based success.

The role will sit within the Bid / Estimating team and will be amongst 9 others in the team, with the hired individual reporting directly into the Bid Manager. The role will be providing key administrative support to the Bids department with day to day duties including:

  • Meeting coordination
  • Administration
  • Diary management for team directors
  • Handling correspondence
  • Telephone / Email query handling
  • Tender documentation tasks
  • Aiding in production of presentations
  • Updating weekly schedules & reports
  • Liaising with other internal teams
  • Various work involving Microsoft packages such as SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel & Word

Ideally the client is looking for CV’s and to interview candidates with the following skill sets:

  • A solid a career background in Administration preferably focussing or having had exposure to Bids / Estimating / Tender administration
  • Experience within a bids / estimating department would be highly advantageous
  • Previous construction / building services background would be an advantage however not essential
  • InDesign experience would be highly desirable
  • Strong skills with MS Office packages including word, excel, outlook, PowerPoint & sharepoint
  • Strong time management / deadline hitting skills
  • Excellent communication skills via telephone and email
  • Able to commit to a permanent role based in London Kings Cross, that will offer home & office working.

The role will be working Monday to Friday, with workings hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm and the client is ideally looking to offer a salary dependent on experience of between £27,000 to £32,000 per annum with numerous additional benefits on offer, such as:
